People seem to like images on a website. I do try to tone the graphics down on a website, perhaps too much, because I know that a lot of people have slow connections and a heavy page is very frustrating to them. On the other hand, I was recently giving a site an overhaul and I added a few small icons in strategic places, and that little dash of color really livened things up.

I am now thinking about all the ways I can tuck little icons into other sites to give them a lift. I also would like to write here about different ways to add icons to Drupal websites, since that is mostly how my sites are set up.
